Hi guys, just wondering if any forum members have used msl performance in small Heath Birmingham?? I'm looking to get dpf removed and possibly increase the power as well (bhp) for my w212 e250 cdi blue efficiency..

I was down there for the MB club Eurocharged day and from what i saw he had a great set up, and came across as a great guy. I am sure there will be plenty of people that will confirm that they have had work done and are more than happy with it.

Cheers for feedback.. What about most important bit- price? Also any guys experienced a company called sinspeed? They reckon they are the only people who can do only my model spec when it comes to dpf removal?! Quoted me £499 which I think is a bit steep??

The staff at MSL have always been great to me when I am there, no idea what the going rate is for DPF never had one done.

Interested to see what kind of gains you get out of the 250cdi Lump....

Ive always wanted to remap mine but ive just paid out a massive lump for body work repair.

I can't do anything at the moment as Mercedes have my car for repair due to the injector recall!! Car failing to pick up speed in high gears and gear change indicator on speedometer stopped working!! They have had since yesterday morning..

I actually though the car seemed to drive better in lower gears until I got on to the M1 and soon found out! Had to literally use cruise control to increase speed! : /

Hi, so I was at msl performance today being taken care of acid,, had the dpf filter removed and also had the e250 mapped!
Got to say acid a top bloke with a great setup and I recommend msl highly to merc drivers wanting to go through a specialist..
The e250 is no lump now! Tbh was quite quick anyway but now it's at max speed for the engine : ) was a very pleasant drive back to notts especially at full throttle in 6th gear lol can really feel the difference! And thank god no engine light on..

I will be using acid again as it would be difficult to find a better specialist in our half of the uk! You realise it's a great and trusted set up by the amount of people coming in and out of the place.. And importantly cost wise very impressive compared to dealers!

No as acid will be taking stock of one soon, he said he will be inviting guys who have had their cars mapped to test them on it..
