Multiple phone connections

I have my iPhone 5 connected via Bluetooth for calls and all works well

I also have an old iPhone 3GS which I use as an iPod - can I connect this to the phone socket in the glove box without interfering with the blue tooth connection?

I already have another iPod connect to the other socket

And before you ask why, I have different types of music on each, and I’m hoping by connecting two iPods/iPhones for music, it will make switching easier...

Should be OK as long as bluetooth is turned off on the phone connected to the socket in the glove box, provided its an aux socket and not a phone socket.
