Has anyone ever loaned/donated a motor vehicle to a museum, on a returnable basis?
Are there any pitfalls?
What about insurance, for example?
I went to a motor museum last year and there was a motorcycle section with a few Japanese classics in it (Honda GoldWing, Kawasaki Z1R etc).
My 1983 Honda CB1100RD is becoming more and more rare and, for a few reasons, I'm unlikely to use it again for a some years.
It crossed my mine that I could loan it for them to display, where others could enjoy it, whilst creating space in the garage.
All and any advice gratefully received
