Hi All,

On Friday I picked up this E 300 in Green from Torquay after flying down from Edinburgh. There was the minor inconvenience of getting her home again, but she made it in comfort without issue.

These really are very pleasant cars! A few photos below for you:

She has done 147k miles but drives really well, a tribute to MB build quality with these cars. There are a few issues on the list to fix:

- Paint is a little flat and could do with attention
- MB star on the back is damaged and needs replacing
- Cruise control doesn't seem to work
- Interior needs clean (but it's in great condition generally)

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum

Thanks all! I just took a work colleague out in it and he was surprised by how fresh she feels, and by the kickdown!

Welcome aboard from a fellow 124er.

Hello and a warm welcome to you.

Hi,welcome to the forum:thumb:

looks like Malachite green.. i should know (i hope) lovely car - welcome

Thankyou all, I've been commuting in her this week and have been really enjoying it.

She is being treated to a full interior valet (with shampoo and leather treatment) and exterior paint treatment/polish next week as I like her so much!

Welcome to the forum.

I really ought to have a '90's E class at some point. I remember arranging the purchase of a 190E in 1992 and wishing we could stretch a lovely big E. We still have the 190E!

Happy days and welcome.

Hi, I've been watching your posts on PH about that car, glad you're enjoying it.

W124s seem to get under your skin after a while don't they?
