So after selling my Golf R32 sometime ago for a deposit on a second house I have been riding around in diesel's. I have been hankering for a V8 for as long as I can remember and have gone through the list of usual suspects, M5, E55, RS4, RS6 etc.... But ended up with this as I felt it offered the best of performance/reliability and I also love a Q car.
The final push which made me get the AMG was a driving experience day at Brooklands in a C63 AMG with the PP. I came away with the biggest grin but to be quite frank I didn't want to spend £30K+ on a C63.
So after random look on the form here I purchased a 2005 C55 AMG in Obsidian Black with fullMB/specialist history and only 50K on the clock which I purchased off Coggers and to be fair is a credit to him and the previous owners.
Car is pretty standard now apart from removal of the secondary Cats and resonator so its sounds a bit nicer then standard.
I haven't got a clue what was standard and what wasn't on the C55 haven't been able to find something that tells you so here is the spec which I got from Mercedes if someone could point out whats standard or not I'd be grateful!

Its going to be my 2nd car as I have a Bora TDI as a daily hack plan is to enjoy it for the moment as its by far the best car I have owned and its my first Mercedes apart from the ones I have driven which Gina owned. I need to get used to a high powered RWD car and then in the future may be release a few more Ponies but not looking to go too mad!
Anyhow some pics
