My C63 is arriving 5 weeks early

I was expecting it last week in nov ,but for some reason Mercedes Leeds have it in and are going to del it on Thursday,its like xmas ,two more sleeps and then its here,i really am excited,will post some pics up on thusday at some point.
I cant fully understand why i was told last week of nov ,anyone else had an early del ?

Obsidian Black,Sahara beige. I went for that because every car i buy has black leather and i have a Range rover with black leather.
I once had a 7 series Bmw and it had a similar colour interior, and i liked that. Its only a lease car so any extras i have to pay for,so it hasnt got a single one, except AMG floormats

Hi Marco, can I ask when you ordered yours. I ordered mine on the 2nd August and was told the 30th November as well. Looks like my dealer are going to make me wait all the way till then. But well done you....thats fantastic

It is a bit strange how they do it. Mine came a few weeks early but another car ordered within days from the same dealer was delayed by 2 weeks.

All sorts of factors like supply of components etc. may have an influence.

Yeah I dont get it either Simon, I phoned MB yesterday and they still have mine down for decade 2 in November which apparently represents the 2 -3 week for my build which takes a week for the car to be put together and then another couple of days to check it over. My dealer couldn't be bothered to ask the question so I went straight to the pick up centre and asked them whereby they told me where my car is at.

It was ordered first week in August , i am a keen driver and have done a lot of trips around europe and the Alps , so im goin to have Kleeman chip done when its run in ,also dyno before and after so will post up results ,should be interesting to see exactly what the increase is.

a cancelled order from someone else
or a pre-demo car close or exactly to spec
could be reasons for an early delivery, 5 weeks is a large proportion of the lead time/ build time
maybe an error ...you could have someone elses car!
plus i heard as of september lead time was increasing from 12 weeks to 20+ weeks
suggest you get them to confirm the exact spec

Mr Hakkinen makes some valid points there. Mine was also a pre-demo car (from Leeds infact) which they already had on order but hadn't been allocated to any customers. They even let me change the spec to the exact one I wanted as it hadn't yet gone into production.

Fine cheers mate, just going to wash and wax her today....

Could be anything like delays for 19" wheels, COMAND is my guess. Pushing through a car with no options must be quicker than one that is to customer spec.

Its probably because its my mate's car leasing company,Prestige Car Leasing and he pre orders build slots , as he does a lot of business with MB.

Ive just put it in the garage and the small fog lights light up on either side when the wheel is turned,i thought they were an extra ?
Its fantastic,ive been lucky enough to own a couple of Ferrari ,but the sound of this is something else.
