Like the title says :( I noticed that the car slopes to the right while it was on the ramps last week... no leaks that i can see what do I need to fix this time???

Assuming nothing is broken, how bad is it ?
Kinky had a ride height query some time ago...Link

it's possible that the bottom coil of a spring has cracked, that's not uncommon on the W124s so I imagine the R129 could have the same problem.

Had you jacked it up on the left side? After jacking it always sits a bit higher, until you get in the car and drive it.

It's not that uncommon on W201's either, it happened to me.

I will have to have a little trott out to a flat car park later :)

Oh goody I wasn't totaly wiped out by my cats going :( and I was looking to throw some more money down the drain on MB parts instead of my savings for a new Alpine Nav unit

Any idea what a set of springs cost ??

I'm sure mine is not sitting even.

As far as a spring being cracked - I have had an Eibach Spring kit fitted to slightly lower the suspension.

I have not measured the distances yet as my road has got quite a bit of a lean - will nead to find a car park/ ramp and do some measuring.

The highest corner is the rear passenger side - my quick test was fingers between tyre and arch- 3 on this side but only 2 on the other.

As the car had the springs done a few weeks back surely they have had enough time to settle down ??

What else could it be - spring not sat properly ?? although no noises coming from suspension ?

Peter the lean is your fault..litterally.
Most cars adopt a lean to the drivers side after a while due to the weight of the driver.

You could simply swap the springs from side to side and the car will gradually ballance out.

Might be :) I checked the measurements yesterday and both the springs on the drivers side are shorter and its clear to me that the passenger seat is hardly used... so if the last owners were lard ****s like me then the spring could well be well sat on :D

My car was always slightly lower on the drivers side, I thought like Dieselman that it was due to fact that the car usually has a driver sat in it. I changed all the springs, shocks and spring pads but it still leans slightly to the right, only by a few mm.

I think it is built into MB's at the factory to compensate for the camber of the road, we need to see if LHD cars lean to the left.

The alignment setting dictates the vehicle should be the same both sides but has an allowable tollerance.
