My CL500 finished :-)

She is a 2005 mdel with 97K on the clock in black
After couple of months of work she's all sorted
- abc pump changed
- front valve block refurbed (spare one still in hand just in case)
- all acumulators removed, cleaned and checked for damage
- system flushed 4 times to be sure all dirt is out
- oil, spark plugs, filter nicely changed
- idler pulley, water pump, tensioner with belt replaced
- front discs and pads replaced
- new pse pump fitted
She is running sweat now
On the wish list got sporty steering wheel and custom exhaust (something which won't cause droning effect)

Love these big coupes! Is there enough room in the back for the seats to be useable Borys? I would love a big V8 coupe but have a 7 year and a 10 year old to think of so need to keep the family happy. Reckon you'll average 20mpg or is that optimistic?

There is a lot of room in the back
I'm 6"3 so to seat behind me its another story
Face Lifted cl's are very good on petrol
Last trip see pic but I got it up to 32.7mpg




On average I get 25mpg easy my s320 v6 cdi was same in the town

Leather everywhere so it really feels first class, no strange noises or squeaks

I am just about to pull the trigger on a new one for my SL as haven't found anyone who is confident about rebuilding one.

Lovely car, the AMG 55's been my favourite in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and that was about 12 years ago when I just turned 10.

Still love the shape of it, what a design.
