Thank you for your reply c250blu. I use a combination of Autoglym and Meguiars products depending on the job and a range of soft cloths. The car is washed most days summer and winter and detailed at least once a week but also extensively used. The E63 is quite new for me but the W211 E55 looked like this as well after 8 years with me.
