My Dream Mercedes Driveway

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a bit of excitement with fellow enthusiasts, my dream AMG/Mercedes driveway is finally coming together!
We picked up our E53 Cabriolet in May last year, and ever since, I’ve been itching to replace my BMW with another Mercedes to complete the picture. I’ve never owned an SUV before, but the GLE has been calling my name.
Well… I’ve just put a deposit down on a GLE53 and I’m going to see (and hopefully buy!) this Saturday. Honestly, I feel like a kid at Christmas. I can’t stop grinning!

Looking forward to sharing pics once it’s on the drive next to the E53. It’s been a bit of a journey, but I’m nearly there.

Your opening post to this thread was fantastic Abzynthe, and excitement palpable and seeing the pictures of your new and long awaited baby I can see just why.

Absolutely stunning MB and that colour sets her off to perfection, what a treat and I'm chuffed to bit for you.

Only 7 sleeps to go until the big day when your dream drive will come to fruition and you'll end up being a curtain twitcher with a smile a big as a Cheshire cat for months to come ... happy days indeed!

It is. The salesman said it was something else, but it definitely says hyacinth red on the spec sheet he gave me.
