MERCEDES E220D SE ESTATE 2018
My Mercedes E220D SE Estate 2018 Model has a SD Sat Nav system that does not show the speed limits on the roads driven. The car has a wide screen and I need to have a SD Sat Nav system that does show the speed limits on the driven roads. Does anyone know of a compatible SD Sat Nav card system that is compatible for my E220D SE Estate 2018 Model. There are so many out there that I am confused.

My GLC uses Garmin I think. It only shows speeds on the central display, not on the driver's dash board section. It's a SD card loaded system.

It's possibly an extra you get paying for live traffic package from mb. ??

Welcome.

Your car is equipped with the Audio20 infotainment system, with the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation on SD-Card.

I don't know if the Garmin Map Pilot navigation software can be configured to show the speed limit for the current road. Others on here might know.

I do know, however, that the Garmin Map Pilot navigation software is the ONLY navigation software that can be uses in the SD-Card slot in the Audio20 infotainment system. No other navigation software can be used in the SD-Card slot.

You could try purchasing the latest version of the Garmin Map Pilot SD-Card, on the odd chance that this feature became available on later versions.

Alternatively, you can check if your car is fitted with the optional Apple CarPlay / Android Auto feature (if not, then it can be retrofited by a specialist), then use any of the many smartphone navigation systems (Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc) that do display the speed limit for the current road.

Hope this helps.

For example. I got the latest 2023/24 maps for £28. eBay

My 2017 220 E has this function which can be switched on or off . Worth checking if yours has the same.

The OP hasn't been back... he must have figured it out.

Unfortunately not the first to ask a question here and then disappear without acknowledging the help and advice offered.
