My E280 reached 80,000 miles!!

Milestone : 80,000 miles!! I hope it to reach 500,000 someday, if I keep her that long!

Got her ar 29,000...and this beast has had no problems so far. Really well built - pleased with the W124 series.

No rust and the leather was like new! wish i still had it today....

I still cant believe that 180km/h in our old 500E felt like 60mph!

My S210 E200T (1999) has now racked up 127,000 trouble-free miles (touch wood!) apart from tyres, and a recent cat failiure which left me struggling to limp home from Reading to Suffolk at 50mph, being passed by lorries the whole way home! Now back in fine fettle after a (non Merc) cat replacement and looking forward to the 200,000 barier which should come up in a couple of year time with the present rate of mileage. Mine has an MB-Tex interior which I know is generally despised but I love it - a bit of hot soapy water and it comes up almost as good as new.

I've driven W124 mercs as courtesy cars that have upwards of 350,000 miles and are still running sweetly.
