My first Mercedes

Hi to everyone out there in the ether .....

I love its looks, I love the way it goes so after reaching a certain age (ahem... when one should know better) I bought a CLS63. My first MB and the first proper car I have ever had - all my previous automotive experiences pale by comparison.

Scares me witless at times. I have had it a year now and I too have been lurking for too long in the shadows at various MB forums. Time to contribute:bannana:

There are some pics in the albums ..

Its Designo Mocha Black, but just looks black to me 99% of the time.
In bright sun it has a slightly brown hue, I will have to park next to an Obsidian black one to spot the difference.

For the last twelve months it hasn't been driven in the rain ..... but now I have modified this after realising how silly and impractical this was, and now it just doesn't get driven in the snow or more particularly if there are gritters about. Its probably diabolical in the snow anyway.
