Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone

I have just ordered a new C Class Saloon 180K Avante Garde with Sports Pack in Obsidian Black. I fell in love with the car when I saw it and after the test drive placed an order there and then.

Should get it 1st week of Sept.

I'm pretty much skint after this, and was afraid to ask how much the Sat Nav system would be. Considering my lack of funds this might seem a daft question, but I'm curious and one day I might have enough to get it fitted. Anyone know the price ?

Also...
Is there anything to be considered with a MB sat nav ?
I presume it's not just factory fitted ?

Audio 30 with AutoPilot is £1430 inc VAT according to latest C-Class pricelist.

Basic COMAND system is £1890 inc VAT.

If she's not feeling generous enough you could always go for a PDA based system. Few of the guys here have them. I have a friend who picked up a second user IPAQ and TomTom Navigator with GPS receiver for £500.

If you're thinking of getting a Tracking device on your new baby there are ones that interface with the IPAQ e.g. Dantrack which then means you only need to pay £300 - £500 for the IPAQ.
