Hope you all had a good bank holiday.

I went about making my first musical vid for my car this weekend.. no speaking (well not this time round anyway) just driving and enjoying the gorgeous weather in a gorgeous car with my gorgeous partner

It is 6 - 7 mins in length, but i promise you its worth watching the whole thing, as some scenes may be slow and boring early on and others not so (well so i hope)....

After watching it back to myself, its made me some what emotional.....i like the scene from 4 mins - 5.30 mins alot... ah.. what a car!!

A Londonderry reg!! Haven't the fuzz ever commented on the spacing? Nice video.

Thank you.

no not had any issues... well not yet atleast!

Yes an irish plate, cheap dateless solution, and I actually like it alot!

Hi DV.

"Location... Private. Car... Private"

Well, the car (320CE on Irish plates) isn't quite so private any more, and I guess that was your house (no 28)you drove out of at the start of the video......

We've seen your face (unless it was a mask) but I couldn't make out the sign as you pulled back into your street at the end.

I guess Dillan (07947 222 ***) is you, otherwise you have posted a film that someone else has copyrighted.

No doubt your video is being enhanced and analysed by the rest of the forum Poirots as we speak.....

All in all, a nice film, lovely music. As a film, ten out of ten.

However, as a way of keeping your privacy, minus several million out of ten.

Hiya, first property is not mine, my partner just bought an apartment there, gorgeous 1 bed with an 8m x 8m terrace.. nicee..

I mostly live in NW London, but i keep the car at hers most of the time as she has a spare garage at hers. Filming was done in SW London, local to where car is kept. I bring the car up north once a month etc..

yup im sure they are.. hope you are well.

(goes off to check Estate Agency listings for early 2009... 1 bed apartment with 8mx8m terrace, SW London)

If you ever come properly "up north" (that's outside the M25.... even beyond Watford, ) do pop in for a cuppa.

BTW - the car looks great!

Car looks good. I think we should use either Bushey or Richmond park as a gtg venue as the backdrop is stunning for photos. Now I know your reg I'll give you a honk as I'm often in those parts.

I am often up at RAF Cosford near Wolverhampton/Shropshire.. is that far up north? lol

Thanks for the comments...

yes venue location and view is excellent and priceless!

Keep going for another couple of hours. (or borrow a plane and nip up to RAF Woodvale!)

(Snap! Woodvale is home to 10AEF and 631VGS, while Cosford is home to 8AEF and 633VGS !)

:D

Pesky kids throwing tennis balls in Bushy Park at 4.49 ;)

Yup, nice video, obviosly spent a lot of time filming etc.
It would have been nice to have a few frames of the chap playing the guitar instead of them being out of shot all the time!!
Oh, and it may have been an idea to have a shot of a box of Milk Tray at the end.;)

Well Done
I hope there is a Part 2

Thanks for sharing it and we could all worry ourselves silly about security..

My guess is what will be, will be.. :)

cars get stolen, houses get broken into. If I want to know where a decent car is that I could steal then I guess I could use Autotrader or any of the specialist magazines...

nice looking car the thing shines like its new you have either spent a fortune on it or it has never been used. nice music but next time try music by Ludovico Einaudi and also a few fading still shots not that im criticizing looks good

Thanks Jonathan, all feedback always welcome.. It was a rough first attempt, so getting some new software in a few days from a friend - Ulead.. dont know if you or any one else knows of it...

music wise, i will have a listen, always open to suggestion, i have a few favorites up my sleeve i want to share with you in time lol :)

Just had some shocking news about an incidence involving parents. see other thread.

They are fine, but was just on the phone to them so bit shocked all over again!

either spent a fortune on it or it has never been used.

mileage has just turned over 27,300 this weekend.

I use it rarely, prob max 5-10 miles a week, if that.

On weekends i might use it for my local driving or to the park if sun is shining.

I have access to a car trailer that i use when transporting between properties or locations, as the garage i normally keep it in at my property in SW London, but i normally work and reside in nw london....

I will be using it when i do some photo shoots during the year.. Have a new phot shoot on Thursday, so should be interesting!

Good thing for me in any case is i mostly work from home, have a home studio, so no commuting mileage lol

When my father is here, he used to commute in a large merc to the station, but now uses the Yaris we have - but in Africa, they love their heavy old school mercs.. simple to fix when a fault occurs, and no stress.. unless u r robbed, then its a whole different story!
