This forum has lots of posts about how to spend all day polishing an exhaust pipe, how to drive your car very fast, long discussions about buying a car that never gets bought, what fascinating finds can be seen in scrapyards etc. etc.
Your clip isn't to everybody's taste but neither are any of the above. If you like it then that's what counts so don't worry about the ribbing and the banter.
