OK, to get where the pics were taken we had a little drive ... This is what the memory was showing on arrival:
Stepped out of the car at the end of the day as fresh as a daisy. These ...... Mercs are superb on the motorway. The last pic should have given it away, but to put you out your misery, here she is all clean and shiny:
2005 E320 CDI Avantgarde Estate. Brilliant silver, anthracite leather, Comand, CD-changer, iPod connection, phone-prep, Parktronic, 7-seat, Memory drivers seat, and upgrade 17" twin 5-spoke diamond cut alloys. I've done nearly 8,000 trouble-free miles in just 3 months since I bought it.
And yes, all that snow did take some clearing ... Fitted the winter tyres for the trip and, as always, they were absolutely superb. Our friends in a front-drive Toyota Verso had to fit chains to get through
(well what do they expect driving one of those?)
