My new C220 !

Hi all,

Just thought i'd pop in and say hi (have already been asking questions prior to actually getting the car!) and say that I picked up my C220 CDI Avantgarde (W203) last week and took it from Basingstoke up to Middlesbrough over the weekend racking up just over 600 miles (on one tank!) and have had a great time driving it around for the first time. Was extremely pleased to see the MPG read up to 57.4!

I'm sure I will be posting many more questions as I go along!

Yes, nothing quite beats the feeling of a new MB. They are good @ covering the miles

I admit I was taking it easy driving along some of the A roads taking in the driving experience, the whole 600+ mile journey ended up with an average of 52.2MPG which I was very happy with...

Oh don´t worry, I did give it a blast or three every now and then 'just to see'... (All within the speed limit of course) ;-)

Don't start! Very frugal engines - my 270 used to average 50+ most of the time and this was at a steady 75-80mph!
