I upgraded from a CLK 320 1997 and ohh what a ride the new one is.
I look forward to contributing to the group and hope you can all help us to more fully enjoy these two wonderful cars.
(both bought for less than £25K - so hopefully a good deal)
Regards,
Mike

Well done -- look forward to seeing pics...
You said your car has bluetooth telephone - is that via an UHI connector?

Hi Crockers, I have simply no idea ! I do not take delivery of the first one (mine) until thurs or fri - much gnawing of fingernails - so can tell you more then.
It has I believe a sort of bluetooth adapter in the armrest - if that sheds any light on things.

Well done - can't wait to see the pics, and i well know the feeling of having to wait for a car.

Did you buy them both from Carlians in Surrey? I saw them this morning, when I was having a nose around. He also has a nice E55AMG estate, that I am trying to persuade my dad that he wants.:)

He always seems to get some nice high spec cars.

Anyway well done, they were very nice.:bannana:

A couple of very nice cars indeed and sounds like you got good prices.

Nice One.

Gavin has always been good to deal with and they do have some nice stuff there. I hope they survive all this doom and gloom

Coming in loud and clear. Looks the mutts, congratulations. crackin deal too. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks fantastic, those 18" AMG alloys really suit the W209 CLK.

I had my eye on that for a while too :D . I think he also had a couple of E500 estates recently.

He has an E55 AMG estate, just come in in Tealite blue.

He is yet to prepare it, and put it on his site.

Approx 20k I think, don't know the mileage, but it looked good.

Hmm, sounds like that's a different one. I'm sure he had one in Tansanite recently and a Tealite E500.

Lovely cars, hope you enjoy them both, I'm sure you will, sounds like a cracking deal too. I had a CLK 270 CDI and always wish I'd hung it.

So now I have my new car, collected yesterday and OHH I am in heaven!!

One thing I had trouble with was pairing my Blackberry to the HFP cradle but now - thanks to a post by Alfie (see below my thanks) all works * perfectly.

My wife's car is due to arrive in the next 20 mins or so , so I will post some pics of that over the weekend

Alfie - You are a STAR (no pun intended).
I struggled with trying to get my Blackberry 8100 Pearl to work and thanks to the info above - it now works perfectly with my car.
#I have a HFP cradle ~ that came with the car with no instructions.
Thanks a million,
Mike

Can't wait to see the photos
