My new CLS AMG Line

Hi, Thought I'd share my first Mercedes purchased yesterday from Mercedes Stoke. I went for the CLS 220d AMG Line. With the incoming new model, I got a great deal on this (brand new), and personally, I prefer it to the new model! (personal preference!).

I must say, as my first Mercedes and moving from BMW, I love it, in my eyes, I think Mercedes has more history and prestige, BTW, love this site!

I got my discount via a Lookers dealership (Stoke), would definitely recommend giving them a call, top service to boot!

I think you took my comment the wrong way.

it's owner's experience and genuine advice, i got the same engine and i have been telling everyone it's not as good as the V6.

I understand what you mean, but it's not too shabby with 173BHP and 0-60 in 8 secs, it's the drive which makes it enjoyable for me.

I drove a 57 plate E60 520d manual once whilst I had my E55. I was expecting it to be shyte but it was actually quite good in terms of performance.

I would imagine a 220d is better than that.

Must do amazing economy to make up for it!

Yes, it's more than adequate for me, did a run from London to Manchester, took in 55mpg, can't grumble with that! Urban, I get between 36-40mpg
