My New CLS63 AMG

Looks awesome!!! Love it.

Sent from my awesome Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Do you have any pics of the car from the side and / or from the back / side angle please?

Was unsure of whether the diffuser would suit but think it looks good.

Really like the vinyl wrap on the bootlid strip. It really suits the look of the back end.

How did you find the hardness of the paint with the DA? I've really struggled to get the swirls out (obsidian black) as it seems the clear coat is unusually hard.

Still has loads of swirls in certain lights, far better than went I bought it however. :)

nice car shame about the wheels.
lol

Don't like diamond-cut wheels at all but love the look of those wheels Karl.

Really suits the car actually.

In a nutshell, it has Digital TV, Park assist (will park itself) Auto Bootlid Close, 600watt Harman Kardon Stereo, COMAND NTG4.5 iPod, USB connectivity, Harddrive

I managed to get a decent discount as I bought it 'as seen' and it needs a fair number of cosmetic fixes, the paint in the sunlight looks like an Ice Rink, the bonnet release is hanging down, a tiny 4mm dent in rearside and overall needs a decent clean.

My plans are to give it facelift bumpers (possibly headlights), tints, lowering, different wheels...

The ILS LED headlights are amazing, leave it on full beam and it slowly adjusts if a car is approaching in the distance, or quickly if close. Discovered today that I have Park Assist which auto parks the car... and its from 2011..!

The photos may look clean, but its not. I will clean it fully over the weekend and also give it a huge detail.

PS, the numberplate is forsale, drop me a PM if interested :)

Initial thoughts, the car is wide, its only 9cm Wider than my '55 however it feels alot wider. The car delivers its power effortly. In compassion, the CLS55 had to be kicked into live if that makes sense, you would have to slam your foot down then BOOM. this just keeps giving and never stops, I can feel the extra 42Bhp over the '55 I over took a car on the Motorway today looked down and I was doing 95Mph. it felt like 75.

The noise, its not as loud as my CLS55 AMG with an X-Pipe, however its far deeper, more thunderous. its hard to explain but its its a rumble and its truely amazing. not sure I ever need to get an X-Pipe, who knows?

The interior quality is the biggest difference, the CLS W219 is in the tail end of MBs cost cutting years, the odd switches and one or 2 trim pieces let the team down, the W218 is full of glorious, metal vents, soft touch plastics, and oh so gorgeous leather. its alot more modern in every way.

Ill admit, I never really thought too much of the W218, thought it was a somewhat backwards step, in person, after a couple of days, its far more butch, more masculine than the smooth curves of the original CLS.

After 20mins of driving a van passed me, the passenger was making odd faces at me, when I looked at him in the eye I released that he was making a 'floor it' motion with his hand :)

I will do a photo shoot and create many videos on it on my Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/user/karlkillerhertz Please subscribe to the channel if you havent already :)
I think you should hire it out to members here, an hour at a time.
I don't want the running costs but do want to experience the sound of full throttle during paddle shift, like to test tyres on their limit too on local roundabouts.
What do you say🤔
Could be a nice earner 😉
