Here she is, my 2003 W209 CLK270 CDI:

Extremely happy with my final choice of replacement over my trusty W202 - you will be missed! :(
I know its not the 3.2 diesel, but the power output feels amazing, even though its meant to be the same as my C240.

Real headturner aswell, had a couple of ladies smile - somthing which never happened driving a W202!

Not many options ticked, apart from AMG Kit, 18" Style IIIs, folding, dimming mirrors, AMG mats...

And me being me, list of my planned mods (in no particular order!):

-W207/W212 DRL's - already sourced a set of the 'Hockey stick' style ones
-Facelift 2 bar grill
-Facelift rear clusters
-CLK63 AMG front bumper
-CLK55 AMG rear box - either prefaclift twin pipes, or the later/CLK63 AMG quad pipes
-Rear Carbon Fibre diffuser
-19" AMG wheels, not decided on which style yet
-Facelift switch gear (already bought)
-Facelift climate controls (already bought) - Seriously, the existing pre-facelift controls look like they are from a 1987 Fiesta Popular-Plus
-Rear sunblind
-Parktronic

Already fitted my own brand LED sidelights & rear numberplate lights :D
And thats only the beginning, now heres the pictures on the 1st 'summers' night of the year!

Driving with all 4 windows down is truly great, especially after the car has handed you your seatbelt

EDIT: Forgot to add, 46.2 mpg after a decent drive last night! :bannana::bannana::bannana:

Nice one Karl deffo looking very smart already !

I prefer this to the current E class coupe.

So much more elegant than the riot of lines and creases of the E coupe.

Lovely.

Right car, right engine. (Who me jealous) I too look forward to seeing the "after" pictures of the mods especially the 3 bar grill. Well done.

After a few hundred miles lets us know how you find the seats after the 202. The 202 seats to mind mind are better than the newer "C's"

If you need a hand getting those AMG badges off, give me a shout...

Other than that, it's a very nice example, I love those wheels. I always fancied a W209 CLK, but I've always needed five seats.

Well done!

That really is a nice looking car!!

Seeing your photos might just get me crawling the ads when I get back home... :)

After all, it's time for the CLS (Shed II) to move on.... :)

Is the paintwork immaculate? i.e. no stone chips?

Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Who purchased your old w202 or was it a part ex?

Here's a nice accessory for your CLK Karl... :D

It was on when I got the car, its staying at least for the short term :D

Zenons Karl?

Yeah, but im looking at the best part of £400 which I would prefer to spend it on other mods 1st.

Few chips on the bonnet and early stages of tin worm appearing on the rear arches, I will try my luck at MB when ive had it 6 months.

I part-ex'd at Jay's Mercland :)
