Average speed looks fairly high to me. It's still averaging whilst you're stationary and even a small amount of that quickly brings down the average.

Thanks! if there were more of these out there, I'd have loved to have got an estate versionLooks fantastic, TrueSpirit!
Great colour of course but these are just such handsome cars. Add the most badass of engines and it’s some package![]()

Running absolutely beautifully just now and hoping to finally get some decent weather for some overdue road trips. NC500 on the list and so was a run through Germany but I am staggered by the cost of the ferry now from either Newcastle or Hull which has made me think again. A cheaper option would be the tunnel but even in this car it’s a boring old haul down there, and more so when coming home. We’ll see.
Next dry day I’ll be cracking on with the usual cleaning routine so the car will at least be looking nice even if not going very far meantime.
I know, right!? Certainly some motorway service stations are north of £2 per litre now. I’m sure it will come down just as quickly as it went up though…lol vPower for 168.9 ... that didn't age well ... filled up today vPower at 189.9 lol
Don’t scare me. Taking my e63s to Germany end of may lol.I know, right!? Certainly some motorway service stations are north of £2 per litre now. I’m sure it will come down just as quickly as it went up though…
You have fuel!?!Trying ESSO Supreme for the first time rather than VPower - heard good things about this and the cost is practically the same.

What do Tesco put in it to damage the ignition coils, and what is it about AMGs which makes them vulnerable to the rubbish they put in it?Best to stick to V Power and avoid Tesco 99 as it causes misfires in the ignition coils. One Indy told me Tesco put “a lot of rubbish” in their fuel and it is not good for AMGs.
Hmmm I've been using Momentum exclusively in my E63 for 3 years without a single misfire.Best to stick to V Power and avoid Tesco 99 as it causes misfires in the ignition coils. One Indy told me Tesco put “a lot of rubbish” in their fuel and it is not good for AMGs.
I’m sure there’s whole threads on this and loads of different views but I’ve never had any issues with BP or Shell so tend to favour them, hopefully the same with Esso. Likewise plenty run Tesco etc without any problems.I find it ridiculously expensive compared to Tesco Momentum for example, but I noticed my e63s drives a lot smoother and I am getting a better MPG too - so as much as it hurt here at almost £1.90 - I likely gonna stick with it.
