    Well good luck!

The 9-3 is OK, not particularly well built and a number of common problems such as broken suspension springs, faulty Command interface modules (sits around the steering column) and as I am sure you know has problems with the EGR valves clogging up and the DPF blocking unless used for long trips.

Find a good Saab independent and register with a good Saab forum if you have not already done so and hopefully your problems will be few and far between.

Like the two different number plates! :)

    Hello

My Brother had a 9.3 2.0lpt and then a Aero Hot estate, that was a great car :)

Must be a bit odd having to shift that weired thing in the middle round... and it does take some getting used to putting the keys in the centre.

    Enjoy

yea guys actually on a vectra forum as they are of more use! its taken a few days to get used too the handbrake and ignition position but has to be said its as comfy as the merc was. just got a few things to fork out to get it running 100% like any car. (its done 136k) egr valve has already been removed and cleaned lol just in case i know there are a couple of advisories from the MOT but i still have 10 months to sort that.

Agreed! My 9-5 Griffin currently sitting outside the barn (and slowly decaying no doubt) has extremely good seats with 3 stage heating and 3 stage ventilation with soft perforated leather. Poor lateral grip but that was never really a problem as the car was not exactly sporting in terms of handling and road holding.:thumb:

My C320 is OK comfort wise but not as good as the Saab seats overall .

I agree with red220 on the seats - best by far.

yea then ended up down here 3 years ago about 40 miles from me then i got it, though after spending £200 getting the engine running properly i think the turbo is on its way out! Grr but thats what i can expect on a high mileage diesel.

i have my personalised plate on it now tho too

I understand they employed, or consulted a Chiropractor when it came to seat design. It shines through.

I owned a 9-3 from new for 3 years and it was the most comfortable car seat I've ever had. Shame the car was so very low to get in and out of.
