My Wedding Car! :)

Afternoon,

after lots of good useful advice of forums like MBClub, Benzworld, and stroke8.org i thought i'd put up a few pics of the 1972 W115 I've been preparing for my wedding.

So thought i'd update you guys on how the '72 merc performed as the wedding car at my wedding. Got back from honeymoon couple of days ago, and hadn't driven anything for a month! couldn't wait to jump back into any car and drive! Anyway everyone loved the merc! and it looked great as a wedding car (biased i know) a few pics taken by friends and family...nothing special but here they are anyway

Didn't forget about the VX220 either, although a 2 seater car is no good at an indian wedding...not enough seats lol

Lovely car, and nice little E21 3 series BMW too.

I was driving through Southall (slowly) last year and there was a full scale Indian wedding car procession coming the other way. The VVIPs were in brand new Phantoms, then the procession was meticulously ordered so that the quality of the cars got progressively worse, with Mercs then BMWs then lesser and lesser until coming up the rear was a Toyota Corolla. It had to have been organised like that, great fun to observe. Charles Dickens or Jane Austen would have clocked it straightaway.
