You have to have one as you can't test 4x4 vehicles on a standard MOT test lane which generally has only 2 rollers, you need the 4 roller set up to test 4x4 ( expensive) otherwise it's the decelerometer everytime.

I've seen loads of Scooby's wrecked this way and brought to us for repair because incompetent MOT testers forget they are 4x4
