I know there are a number of dog owners and dog lovers on this forum. Today, I've been to Liverpool for a pre-Dog Mania meeting as I'm volunteering to help out on the days. The great thing about this is you can take your dog! Exhibitors include Burns Pet Nutrition, The Liverpool Vets (who are there for canine first aid and check overs), Parry Welch Lacey (specialist pet solicitors), Michael Argyll Pet Portraits, Costco, Reach Sled Dogs, many more, and of course the driving force behind the whole thing, Merseyside Dogs Home, who rehomed many of the dogs involved in the Manchester Dogs Home arson attack. There will be a duck-herding collie, Scruffs fun dog show (each ticket includes one entry), Fire and Rescue Dogs, Kipperidge Gun Dogs, Preston Dog Trick School and more in the Learning Zone. The Chill Out Zone will include pet massage, using four massage techniques: Swedish, Sports Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release (no, I don't know what that is). There will be a Hay Bail Scurry area and a fun Agility area, and the hugely scientific "Waggulator" to determine the happiest dog. There will also be a dog treat stall with all proceeds going to Merseyside Dogs Home, including liver cake, fish and chicken-based products, reckon that will be popular with the canines!

So, if you are interested, go to: Home - Dog Mania and check it out. Tickets are relatively cheap (free for dogs - one per adult human ticket) and join the thousand dogs who will be in Liverpool over Easter weekend!
