Navi/Linguatronic Mental Block

I really am having a full-on Victor Meldrew moment. How can I use a voice command to get the ruddy Comand Navi to set a POI as a destination? All it ever wants is to demand a town/street etc or make a phone call or ask what help function I want. I have a POI saved as Home. Why can't I just say 'go home' or similar?

I know that the commands it accepts depend on what screen you are on and sometimes whereabouts in that screen.
