E-Class 2012
Hi

We had a Navigation 20 box installed in a Merc e-class 2012 around 2/4 years ago. A few months ago the digital screen display went off however audio stil worked. Taking it to a garage the Nav 20 box was removed and the screen worked as normal, pointing to a fault in the Nav 20 box. Mercedes quoted nearly a grand to get an alternative as that box isnt made anymore so we decided to leave it.

A remaining problem however is that audio wires that (ipos, usb, aux) coming out the glove box exit hole are those that were installed and connected to the now removed Nav 20 box, and now do not work at all. Before that box was installed we had a single Aux cable coming out which worked fine. Is it possible to open the glove box up and find this Aux cable and reconnect it myself?

Many thanks

Sunil

Yes, the aux should be there somewhere unless it was completely removed.
nav20 systems are unreliable sadly. Weve seen a lot of them fail and when they do they take out the ipod/usb with them.

Cheers mate, are there online guides/vids available to "DIY" the glove box area open up to find the original Aux cable?

Thanks

Sunil
