When the radio turns on, does it say:
'Don't let the SYSTEM distract you....'?
If so, then your infotainment unit is Audio20, and you may also have the optional Becker Map Pilot navigation processor fitted inside your glove compartment.
If, on the other hand, if it says:
'Don't let the COMAND distract you....'
Then your infotainment unit is COMAND Onlne NTG4.5 Gen3 (aka NTG4.7), which has built-in navigation processor, and the maps reside on an internal hard disk drive inside the COMAND unit.
COMAND is generally a higher-end unit than Audio20, and the Navigation in COMAND is better than the Becker Map Pilot.
COMAND has a bigger screen with higher resolution, and can also have live traffic via the optional TomTom Live Traffic subscription.
But the Becker Map Pilot has optional speed camera database, which COMAND does not have (although it can be added via Personal POI).
On a general note, you can find out which options are fitted to your car by checking the VIN in an online VIN decoder.
