Need help, central locking, tailgate inoperative, won't start after towbar fit.

Hi all newbie to the site,
Help needed, after fitting a towbar to my e250 cdi estate I found I couldn't shut the electric tailgate, or lock or unlock the doors with remote, no radio, and car will turn over but will not start, any ideas or solutions would be incredibly appreciated, thanks in advance Carl.

Hi.
Was this fitted professionally or did you DIY?
Did you use a model specific wiring kit and code the car?

Any of that may or may not be a factor, just trying to get the baseline info.

Well I think you answered your own question,your car needs to have a tow bar fitted by people who know how to connect it up and then tell the car via Star that it has a tow bar now.
