Need help with alarm & interior lights! PLEASE!

I own a SLK200 convertable, first registered june 2000. Interior Lights: I have been having this problem now for the last six months, they wont swithch off on their own. Last week the alarm started going off on its own accord. It can go off now several times a day. I have now had to lock the car by just using the key and not alarm, and lights are perminantley switched off. Dont want this to carry on as its not practical, and certainley not safe! please can someone help!!

check the central locking pump in the boot.
It will be soaking.

You may get away by just drying it out.

This look like a door switch not closing properly or gone. Usually driver side, but check them all.
