Good morning!

Just had my new wheels delivered today and realised the standard bolt size wont fit....

I was planning on putting new bolts on anyway but just wanted to do a test fit today.

The wheels are 8.5 x 18 ET32.

Does anyone know the correct bolt size???

Many thanks

Look on www.alloywheelsdirect.net It will tell you what bolt pack you need for W208, or email Chris, you can also order them through Chris he's a forum member - great service and excellent product. Recently got a set for my SL 55 AMG wheels for my C55.

I did try but because my wheels are Mandrus he dosnt know. Got some on order from the wheel supplier now.... thanks for the reply.

Ollie ?

I don't get what you mean ? If they are wheels designed for an MB shouldn't the holes be the correct size for the existing bolts ?

If you have new bolts make sure they the length and thread are correct ...

Which Mandrus wheels did you get? i have the Reganmeister, and not long had the spokes painted gloss black. My bolts were supplied with the wheels shorter ones on the rear so they don't snag the rear parking brake thingy.

They are mandrus millenium wheels, the fitment is the correct size just the standard bolts are too long, i have got back on to the supplier and they are sending me the correct bolts now.

Just out of interest why do mercedes adivse you to to grease the bolts?

Sorry , i've misunderstood , i thought you had bought a set of MB wheels ( style type Mandrus ) .... not a set of aftermarket wheels. :o

lol, no worries......... I was but these came up!

Ok so the supplier, wheels direct - http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Wheels-Direct__W0QQ_armrsZ1 sent me the wrong size bolts they sent me a set of bolts stamped B13 70.9. The look to be the correct length but the thread diameter is far too large and wont even clear the disc hole.

I have been informed that there is only one other size and they are sending me these instead.......

If anyone can tell me what the correct size should be i would greatly appreciate it!

Many thanks.

Mine took the standard 12mm bolt for the W203, as i had 9.5 Mandrus rear the bolts were cut shorter so they would not catch on the parking brake. Are yours staggered or 8.5's all round?

Hi tudu, thanks for the reply. Mine are 8.5'' wide all round (unfortunately for the time being). The standard W208 bolts are too long but you think that W203 standard ones should do the job?

I think you just need the short bolts that are fitted to the rears of the CLK, My CLK has the short bolts to the rear. If you are struggling let me know as there is a supplier the far side of Barnsley which may not be too far from you.

Cheers mate, that sounds like a plan if this supplier cant provide them. The car is booked in a delacy's on tue for the springs fitted so i might see if they have any. I dont hold much hope that the wheel shop will send the correct ones but fingers crossed.
