NEED HELP WITH MY C220 04reg

C220 tdi 04 reg 115k milage
last night she looses power and revs are not going over 3000rpm when in n or parking. she changing gears on 2000rpm

can hear the sound like she's leaking some power when i try accelerate.

can anyone advise me, could it be electrical as there is no smell and no smoke...
pls help me

The noise indicates that boost is being leaked away. Probably a split pipe or intercooler, but normally accompanied by lots of smoke as it overfuells.

thnx for ur quick reply but there is no smoke or smell wht so ever i checked this morning but still same problem.....its still doing 50 60 this morning when i check but very slow ......its like when ur drving a manual car and u start in high gear and its slowly catches up.

as diesel man says you probably have a split boost hose, common on this car. the limp home will prevent overfuelling and black smoke in this case.

Its usually the top right boost hose when looking at the engine fromthe front of the car towards the front screen

They are fairly easy to fit and then will need the fault codes resetting after

How do you know the turbo has gone

been to garage and white smoke from the exhaust and oil aswell.
