So, progress of a sort.
If you had a hypothetical £20k, what would you buy?
Looking for better economy than the Galaxy (circa 25/28mpg), a more cossetting drive with lots of toys (to be fair the Galaxy is a top spec and been superb), don't need the seven seats now as that's covered elsewhere potentially. With any bl00dy luck the ned for 5 seats will be greatly reduced after Xmas if Madam JB Jnr gets her butt into gear, although not totally done away with as she aint leaving Chez JB till she's at least 30 !!!!
S350 diesel LWB?
E class saloon diesel?
E class estate diesel?
Been looking at Jay's site as a reference - he has some nice examples, and it's amazing what you can get for well under £20k these days. As an example, there's a gorgeous turquoise estate which as a 350 will make me smile and smile, also a nice dark blue saloon with low miles).
Been a long time since we could consider coming back to MB, oddly I don't feel "excited", seeing it a bit more practically than when we were younger.
So what would you buy, why would you, and what is a "must-have" ? Discuss.
