Anyone else get comments off the neighbours about how clean you car is?

I've had mine tell me I'll wash the paint off at this rate

My neighbours have given up now, been washing my cars at least once every two weeks more if I get the chance and have been for years now
They do think I'm mad when I take photos of my efforts though

And I have in the past had my neighbours ask me if I'll do their cars.
Normal payment is a box of beers

Yep I try to wash mine every week but been every 2 weeks lately..

Mind you did it today, in and out... noticed some rust on front drivers side wheel arch... arghhh had both rears done recently.. can't say I'm not getting fed up of this now

Yesterday my 8 year old son announced he's going to be a detailer, it seems he kept our Detailer company on Friday, whilst he was doing our maintenance details. If he's ang good, this is going to save me a fortune!

He seems to think I'll be his assistant, he doesn't realise how slim I am at washing cars...

I get this a lot, probably because my family is full of petrol heads and there is always someone outside on the drive way tinkering with their cars.

The latest comment I got was:
"It would be a shame if you've done all that and it starts to rain" ... It started to rain later that day!

My neighbour often says..."your car's a disgrace to the street. Leave it there and I'll wash it with mine"

It does confuse me when people spend as much as they do on a car (most expensive after a house) and they treat it like dirt...... Literally
Our cars get washed twice a month, just wash n wax, wipe and blacken (heresy to some on here I know)

Then, when admiring a neighbours new car with him, it all fell into place
He didn't spend a lot of money
It's £265 a month (Pcp)
It's an expensive household appliance
But he did take a photo or two whilst it was new & clean on his iPhone7 (with a cracked screen....)

My work car will be on the motorway on Tuesday and filthy

My wife's car will be on the county road on the Monday and beyond filthy....

Tend to have an annual blow out...
