Just e-mailed a Californian company to find out how much these cost shipped to the UK.

If the price is right, what do you think?

Is it pure coincidence that Bet Lynch has just returned to Coronation Street, or are they that vulgar?

    Koolvin,

Just checked the brochure I have and its 6/2001, it lists the AMG sills in stainless steel only, but MB version can be illuminated.

Got a day off tomorrow, so I'll pick up a new one.

    Thanks for your help.

    Guy,

Had the Mercedes illuminated sills fitted to my C32, you obviously never noticed. MB couldn't supply the AMG ones when I asked the question.

Have just had the AMG sills fitted to the CL.

Come &amp; have a look their worth every penny.

    Billy

    Billy,

By way of excuse - it was the sunniest day we've had this year when I got into your C32, so I might not have noticed if they'd been flashing!

I'd love to see the CL anyway, AMG sills or not!

I'm still trying to sort out the AMG driving day - Sat July 13th, but I'm waiting for confirmation. How's that for you?

I'll give you a call when I know, and we can fix up a meet?

I am in the process of trying to book the family holiday &amp; we are looking at leaving on the 13th for two weeks, so count me out for that day unless anything changes.

I'll know more by the end of next week once the holidays are confirmed.

    School holidays - nightmare!!!

Do you want AMG or MB?

Koolvin may well know the answer, [sorry I don't] but I can ask my dealer if you want.

Are these &quot;Eastern&quot; made items as poor quality as we are led to believe?

If not, were can someone aquire such items?

I remember seeing a program were MB showed that a &quot;fake&quot; grill broke into 5 pieces when involved in a crash, but theirs only broke into 2 pieces.

I personally could'nt give a poo how many pieces my grill was in if I had just stoved the front of my car <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> !
