the Jag was mapped and hit 174mph pulled 184 last time with less power and its a standing start this time without the corner speed.

Looks like the (lower powered) GT is significantly quicker. Kind of makes a mockery of the GT's claimed output, because I never felt the Jag didn't have the power it should have (although it is a heavier car).

A few of the dyno results from the US are suggesting the GT makes more like 530-540hp, so a good 8% up on AMG's claim.

Are you getting yours tuned?

What colour carbon did you go for? I would of liked a black gloss strut to go with the diamond black pack but there wasn't an option.

I went for gloss carbon fibre strut.

Seeing your GT S around is making me impatient for mine!

Ace did you see Weistech have come out with a very nice looking coil over suspension upgrade for the GT. At about £1,200 in our money or $1,850 seems very reasonable.

After 18 months of fun the GTS will be going in two weeks.

The engine was mapped up to 620bhp which made a real difference 3.5 to 60 7.2 to100.

I have used it as my daily drive and loved every minute. It's done 6 track days 3 runway challenges and 25k miles.

The best AMG I have ever owned without a doubt and one of the best cars, it will be shame to let it go and be moving away from AMG for the 1st time in 5 years.

I am sure I will see a few of you at meets still and keep tabs on the forum.
