I am very pleased to introduce you to Araminta, born this morning at 05:54 weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces. Although she's six weeks premature she's doing well as is Julia :D

Couldn't be happier right now :D

2 things, firstly, cant see your pics, but congratulations all the same. Secondly what origins does her name Araminta have out of curiousity? Beautiful name by the way.

Oh third question, when are we 'wetting the baby's head' so to speak :D

The pic is uploaded to the forum as an attachment so I don't know why you can't see it! The name comes from a novel, televised in the 1980s as "Moondial". The name was made up for the novel but I believe it's quite a popular name now as kids who saw the show in the 80s are having kids of their own.

My sister gave birth about 14 months ago to a baby weighing about the same as ours, 7 weeks premature. She's walking around and talking now - it's terrifying!

Congrats. There's no better feeling than welcoming a new born of your own into the world. I remember sporting the smile that you can't get rid of for weeks after each of my three were born :D I was five weeks early weighing five pounds. Forty two years and a 200 pounds later I'm doing OK.
