just got a new battery, the old one was old and past it. got a proper spec one which is 90aH, the old one was 72aH now its starts much faster and better, trouble is its a bit too wide to sit in the tray, so ill remove the tray and cut the side lip\s off it soon, one day, eventually.

of course, it starts much faster and better, only because it is a new battery.
You should have refered to the car`s owner manual for the correct aH,
it is not a good idea to leave a battery sitting on the vertical edge of the
tray, the battery may get cracked from the bottom.

I consider a good battery fit, when the battery is correctly placed in tray and securely held with its brackets.or what so ever.

lupi, i got it online after typing in the car specs, and this battery came up...yes i'll fix the tray problem asap. i believe the extra ampeage is a better. thing...

Of course extra ah, is always better, the only problem is that battery
size gets larger as well, as already mentioned.
I consider a good battery fit, when the battery is correctly placed in tray and securely held with its brackets.or what so ever.

Check for clean battery terminals and poles, check that you don`t have
any loose connections at the terminals and pratically use some petrolum
gel on the terminals, this helps against corrosion.

Have a nice day.
