This therefore explains the dirty chrome advertising - to reach out to those folks who have no imagination or ability to choose.

Most of the shots of the new SLK have been taken from (relatively)favourable angles. There were a few on the American web-site (where the car is now in the dealers) which are les flattering. The rear's like the Peugeot 206CC and the side has shades of the Tigra. Yikes.

Must admit - I tend to agree I think the Brabus and AMG do have a bit more edge to them tho - the standard has the look of the MGTF from the front and as you say, Tigra/Puma/TT from the back. Will be good to see one for real.
