new c class diesel deals

went to local John Weirs in Inverness for a quote on the new twin turbo 250 diesel blue efficiency estate - aparently they are in the country but there are no finance deals via the MB agility as the residuals have not been finalised - anyone heard anything on the C with this engine ??

It should be fast, but its an all new engine and as such there may be problems/recalls that won't be there with a more industry proven, time served engine. A normal C220cdi will be fine and a C320cdi estate makes a compelling choice but as I have said before, a used (lightly) 211 estate may suit your needs better.

Why not also widen your search to UK wide or Scotland/N England as a greater number of cars will be open to you and other dealer groups (weirs ain't the best) may be able to offer you something.

Im 100 miles north in Caithness. John R Weir in Inverness wouldnt do me any deal at all. So I went all the way to London and got a cracking deal. The cost of going down and coming back was a fraction of what I saved.

I got a C220 CDi and its excellent, averaged 48mpg coming back and around the Caithness roads I get about 40mpg which is pretty good. The advanced agility package makes all the difference to performance and handling. In my opinion its a superb car and I would recommend it.
