Monday saw delivery of my new C220, replacing my 2 year old C220, same colour, same engine, same everything really. ( boring eh!)
What a difference! At first I wasn't too keen at giving it back, but since driving the newer model for a week, I wouldn't take it back!
The main differences that I have noticed are that it is more spacious inside, the ride is a lot smoother, the drive is a lot more responsive, and it seems faster.
I opted for the basic se version as there is a credit crunch on! And I am impressed with the instruments and display, and the comfort. I do love the "floating" speedo guage.
Overall, I would say the previous version was a 7/10, the new model a 9/10.
And parked up next to my colleague who has just got a 520, the Merc is a lot more pleasing on the eye!
