Hi!!

Had my 2017 AMG C43 Coupe for about 6 months now, so thought I'd jump on and say hi !! :)

Coming from a line of all wheel drive machines (Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000, Impreza STi Spec D with Prodrive Performance Pack, Audi S5 Coupe and now this) I figured that hopping straight into a C63 might be a bit dangerous for my health, so I opted for the "reassurance" of the 4wd C43 instead, and not regretting one second of it!!

I did take about 6 months to hunt down the right car, as I love my gadgets, so to find a nearly new C43 with 360 camera and HUD as a minimum took a while (thankfully the sports exhaust is a given with the premium plus coupes) but it was definitely worth the wait (plus this one has all the driver aids too - steering/lane assist, distronic cruise, and Intelligent Light System LEDs). Plus, when sat in rush hour traffic crawling along, just putting it into Sport + mode and listing to the exhaust pop always puts a smile on my face! :D

Hopefully a couple of pics below!!….

Great set of options on your car. It is a fantastic spec. There is nothing to fear with the 63, it is very easy to drive but the 43 is even easier !!! Congrats

Welcome on board ... I too picked up a C43 not that long ago, mine is the estate and high spec like yours ... the only quirk Ive found is that it doesn’t seem too keen to be dropped into S+ until nicely warmed up, hinders the otherwise smooth drive ... rest of it is great and a stealthy way of making swift progress

Welcome, you picked the best colour :) I had to settle spec wise, I wanted the driver aids as I'm a gadget freak but having waited seven months for a brand new one only to be told they couldn't build it (!), I went for the closest ex-demo I could find. It has the premium plus pack, so pano roof, intelligent lighting, uprated hifi etc, it also has the sports exhaust. Just missing the BLIS, lane assist, active cruise, etc. Can't say I'm really missing them to be honest, I'm loving the car :)

I should point out that the C43 has a 69% bias to the rear and that's fixed, so it can still be just as fun as a C63 if you push it right ;)

I bought the same. Sadly mine is currently sat dead at the dealer awaiting a software patch. The yellow engine warning light came on. As part of the fix, the dealer was going to update the software. Supposedly whilst updating the software the laptop crashed, corrupting the software on my car. So we are now awaiting a software patch from Germany to re-install the software on my car. Car has been gone a week, so have a courtesy car ( a c class , but on a C43).

Welcome on board. Happy crabbing. I know I shouldn't write that but it is the season to be crabbing unless you've changed your rubber...

Crabbing is common on all 4WDs at lower temperatures, all our 4wd cars are currently doing it and they’re not faulty.

The current c43 makes a proper v8 c43 look even more handsome ;O)
