New C63S viewed today

And it's absolutely f**kin awesome. Polar white with premium pack and night package and it looks sensational gents. It had standard 19" wheels in silver and I was quite literally blown away with it. The track looks especially wide and the appearance from the front looks super aggressive. Not impressed with the cut off exhaust though with fake tips in the rear diffuser

But when he started her up...... Wjooooahhhh! Ive been looking at M3 over the last few weeks and sorry mr BMW, you have got it totally wrong, I mean totally. The noise is awesome with so many more crackles, bangs and pops than the 'old' C63. God knows what the upgraded exhaust option sounds like.

Interior is gorgeous. In a word stunning. Really want one.

I don't know if it's standard across the interior range but the one I saw in a showroom had some god awful quilted look seat covering. It would not have looked out of place in my nans lounge.

Fake exhaust tips is a poor way to go, Audi do the same now with the RS cars.

I still am not sold on the interior at all.

Fake tips have been in vogue since October 2012 lol, my c63 has them.

Not sure if you can call it that, but my S Class has fake tips. They aren't even tips. The exhaust is underneath the vehicle. You can't see it that much, but you could probably make out the chrome.

Also, to the OP, I don''t suppose the numberlate was MA15 UDW?

No mate it's not registered yet. Not even been PDI'd but the salesmen had still gone and done 24 miles in it

That sounds like the Edition 1. I agree that the quilted seats are very 'Kahnlike' but what's even worse is the red trim around the alloy. Looks like it's straight from Halfords.

Edition 1 is definately one to miss

Whaaaaat? No love for the quilts? You're all wrong and have no taste Quilts all the way - I spec'd my GT with the tan leather just to get the quilted leather It looks phenomenally 'rich' in real life and not at all like a Khan special (whilst they also have quilts, Khan don't seem to know when to stop).

Simon.....as a 3 series owner (as I have been) you're not sure of the interior? My outlaw has a new C-Class and I think it probably the finest interior in it's class, even despite of the screen!

Can't wait to try one of these but at the same time, I don't want to as I know I'll like it. And I don't really want two cars with the same engine and I like our ML63 a lot so I should probably stay well away

Seen this car advertised. Does look like a beast. Crackles and pops are Defo down to the turbos...

Does the new C63 use a twin clutch system or just a revised MCT speedshift? I know it was meant to be a DCT system but every review I've read and seen the test car uses the old wet clutch mct

My dealer where I bought my 507 has just got their demonstrator delivered today - C63S in White - cant wait to see it and drive it. I keep looking at the new M3 but the engine just doesn't seem special enough to me.

If the new C63 is faster, better handling and sounds as good, if not better than my current C63, then its sort of a no brainer...(except I want the Coupe)
