Hi guys new member here to MBClub....... looks like I've found the right place I need to be in amongst fellow Merc owners ;p

Here's my 2007 B Class B170 W245 with it's new 18'' alloys on.
I got these fitted at RTech Auto's in St Albans, nice bunch of guys up there.

These are 8x18 Cades Zeus et42 fitted with 215/40/18 tyres.

I'm pretty happy with them, they are better looking than the stock 7x17'' alloys I had previously, although they are a bit heavier to turn at high speed cornering.... but seeing as this not my main driving style I can live with looks over performance.

I want to do lots more modding to this little Bee and will surely be seeking advice on here pretty soon. I think I first need to scan the threads and see if my questions have been asked before though.
Cheers

I've seen a few threads about which tyres are best for offering some rim protection built into the sidewall.... not for stopping any realy heavy hits but atleast for offering some protection from kerb rash whilst parking, especially if the wife drives your car too.. sorry no offence to women!

Anyhow, saw this beemer the other day with a pretty good rim protection.... they are Yokohama Advan Sport tyres .... here's a pic to show it properly.
Something I might consider one day as my alloy lip is pretty exposed
