Finally, I have purchased a digital camera and tried to learn how to use it.

My retired S500 looks quite good in the pictures, I think.

Glojo, when you get used to the digital you will wonder how you managed with out it, the next challenge will be manipulating your photographs like blotting out that no. plate and horse box. then you really would have a picture. over a 1000 of my car and components on my site all A class that's the model of car car not the quality of the photographs!
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/albert.rowe all digital taken with a SonyCyber.shot 5 megapixals fitted with a Carl-Zeiss 58mm lens, although i only ever use it on the 640x480 setting for web site photos.

Hi Lofty,
I am mega, mega doubting your reading abilities :D :D :) The picture was submitted by jgevers. Have you perhaps been at the 'additives' (Humour)cabinet?

Regards,
John

glojo you obviously haven't visited my site? if you had you have seen my excuse is the vintage wine, what's an odd mistake between friends, good vintage 2005, blackberry & apple at least 12.5%
Cheers lofty, its got to be worth two :bannana: :bannana:

jgevers, sorry about my confused state of mind yesterday, Wires got crossed what with that and the additive mix up! I should have gone to bed earlier like mid day. Talking of digital manipulation have you checked to see if your horse box is still on the drive?
Is there any wonder we get royals sucking toes when you can adjust photos to distort the true picture.

Still haven't worked out how to load the IMG so link to this:-

It will be gone tomorrow so download if you want it. best wishes

I like it. Just checked, the horsebox is still there :-)

How do you blot out the plate?

Cheers,

Job

I surprised you didn't ask where did the Horse box go ? Its all done by cloning. I use a prog "Adobe home user 3" very simple to use and does the job. I suspect you got a prog with your camera which will enable you to manipulate your pics. great fun. you only have to smile once in your life you can then just swop the heads and your smiling in every photo!

It will be a different colour again when those gulls fly past, if it's anything like it is here in the south! Mind you with that No Plate JG can afford to have washed.

That's a very tidy S500, looks good in that colour.

The old girl drives quite well too despite the 4 speed gearbox. I prefer it to the airsprung w140, a bit more feeling.

Mind you, I haven't driven it for about 5 months. Too many other cars at the moment. It's SORNed and out of MOT. It has even lost it's space in the garage. I'll probably sell it because cars don't like just sitting around............

Cheers
