'21 C300 Coupe, '20 SLC Final Edition, Peugeot 208 (hers!) and a new Ford Kuga in Russia
Of no particular interest to others probably, but I've just ordered an SLC Final Edition to replace my SLC250d. I chose selenite grey and was told I'd snagged one of the last ones in the UK! Nice eh! (if it's true!)

SWMBO loves the SLK/SLC and in the end I couldn't say no to the Final Edition as it's very well equipped and the end of the SLK line. Might even be a classic one day.. LOL!!!

Should have it early April (when the current leased SLC goes back). Pics to follow then :)

We have an SLK with some unusual spec, magic sky roof and analogue clock on top of the dashboard, what does yours have?

Actually at 73 I suspect my SLK 55 is going to be my final edition

Is the SLK/SLC being replaced by MB with a new model?

And no, MB are not replacing it, this is the last of the small, affordable roadster line. I read somewhere that AMG might be working on a Porsche Boxster rival though.... :)

That’s a shame. Always had a soft spot for the SLK but never owned one.

Doesn't offer an answer.

Did you proof your link?
quote:-
The last ever SLC is launched 23 years after the two-seat roadster first made its public premiere, badged as the SLK, ushering in a new folding hard-top roof structure that was subsequently emulated by many other car makers.

Without plans for a successor model, Mercedes-Benz is marking the end of production for the SLC by offering a special optional yellow paint finish alongside the standard black and grey options. This replicates one of the colours used to launch the original SLK.

SLC 300 is a great choice. Did you get a great deal?
I got a great deal on mine, Premium Plus & just about every extra ticked on the option list. But they just aren't selling well any more, Mercedes dealers all over the UK have them offered at really low prices compared to the RRP.
Great chance to get a good car at a big discount, especially the SLC43's!

Yes! I did the deal with an MB dealer that was part of the group I worked for a few years ago. I had to travel, but it was worth it! :)

Think it's sad the SLK/SLC is finished, but I guess the small roadster market just isn't there any more. I had looked closely at the new BMW Z4 (I really like the dealer in Tring) but as the end of the day, the last SLC ticked more boxes for me. I wish BMW well with it, as it is a nice car!
