I started to modify/tune my car but after some careful thinking im wondering is it ever worth it as it has high milage and all mod's ect ect could prove quite costly...
so I started toying with the idea of buying another one the same shape as mine (W202) AMG, newer and with low milage or failing that just a different car but after looking around im now thinking i wont get sod all for mine and dont want to give it away, i dont really know what to do!

strip the mods and put the car back to standard spec and shift it on. Stick the mods in the for sale section on here for two weeks then resort to fleabay, problems solved :)

Only "worth it" if you are going to keep the car as you will never recoup the amount of money you spend on it modifying it when you come to sell it. I agree with Tilly, take it back to standard and sell your accessories! (you never know i might be interested!) :)
Or, have a look at autotrader and ebay etc to see what sort of money it is worth and then decide?!

Dealing with a better 'factory' standard car will be better from almost any angle rather than a heavily 'modified' car - eg insurance and servicing expertise. Supposing a car's engine is modified to produce extra power and torque. Maybe the transmission and brakes will need to be beefed up to cope with this. Then there is hassle of insuring a non standard car. Surely better to sell and buy a better car than sweat over modifications. Since you have a pre facelift W202 C230K then only a W202 AMG C36 or C43 would supply more grunt or maybe some form of W203 . If I had the spare funds, I'd go for a LHD C55 W202 estate or saloon, myself.

Benny, dont bother modding it any more you will just plough money into it, upgrade to a c36 or c43 or even something else, just remember the insurance side of things too! as said here put it back to standard before selling it and sell the mods seperately.

I would say, strip the mods, sell the car... sell the mods, get something else...
