New car paint protection in Milton Keynes area.

My friend is collecting new car and asked me to find him recommended detailer who could do ceramic paint protection. I searched the forum and couldn't see anything in that area. Maybe someone in NW London as we have office there and he could drop the car off while going to work.

Do you know someone who does it and can recommend him/her? Friend says that he will take dealer paint protection if he can't find anyone but I think it will be waste of money.

@Penelope - Would your friend be prepared to use somebody from your area ie. Surrey? If so, I would steer him to Ed at Divine Detailing. The guy is a veritable legend in the professional detailing arena. I would strongly advise against any dealer's paint protection offer unless it was free and even then I'm not sure I'd want a workshop monkey going at my new paint. Mercedes StarGard treatment is £400 and I'm sure other high end marques charge similar. I'd put that money towards something like Kamikaze Enrei. Yes, Ed charges £800 to apply it as it is very time consuming but he is one of the very few detailers accredited by Kamikaze to use the process. I used Ed's services but I don't think my friend wants to travel that far as it won't be time efficient. I know about another company in Berkshire but it's in the middle of nowhere and I'm not sure how I'm going to get there myself, or rather out of there after dropping the car.

There must be someone on NW side of London and further? I did search on Northampton and didn't come up with any results. Maybe something near Bicester?

My SLK was allegedly treated twice with Stargard and it was very dirty when I got it just after second application, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even for free. BMW charges £450 for mid-sized car. Dealers must be getting nice kickback for it, if they are throwing it in for free.

Adam at Refined would be my recommendation too, he uses the Kenolon Ceramic Shield product which is excellent

I never updated this thread. My friend used Huntsmiths Detailing and was very happy with service and the way the car looked.
